Inorganic Biochemistry

Inorganic Biochemistry is the branch of inorganic chemistry concerned with the properties and behavior of bioinorganic compounds. This field covers all chemical compounds except the carbon based compounds which are the subject of Organic chemistry. The distinction between the two disciplines is not definitely defined and there is much in common more significantly in the sub discipline of organometallic chemistry. Many inorganic compounds are ionic compounds consisting of cations and anions joined by ionic bonding. Many inorganic compounds are characterized by high melting points. Inorganic salts typically are poor conductors in the solid state. This detailed study covers the subject of inorganic biochemistry in a research based manner.
