INDIA`S WORLDS AND U.S. SCHOLARS 1947 TO 1997 (PB)

Aims to acknowledge the ways in which the study of India has stimulated US scholars during the period from India's independence and to express gratitude on behalf of AIIS to people and the government of India for their help in scholars' endevours. Papers highlight role of AIIS during last fifty years and bring out contribution to the study of India to various academic disciplines.
