Indian Christian Women Pioneers and Leaders Revealed : An Exploration of Overlooked Women Voices in Socio-Cultural and Religious Framework

The present book is about the contribution and role of women leaders in the growth and development of Indian Churches in general and Assemblies of God Church in particular. The author argues that though women constitute the major precinct in the Assemblies of God Church and are actively involved in all Church related activities and developments; their contributions are taken lightly by the male historians. The author did an extensive research and brought out women pioneers and leaders who played a pivotal role in the growth of the Indian Churches. The book proposes some of the steps to be undertaken for a leadership development programme for women that will empower women’s leadership in the Church and Society.
