Environmental Stress And Its Remedies

Clean and healthy environment is the right of every one. It is a fact that quality of our life depends on the quality of our environment. But in the last few decades, man has greatly damaged his environment. Environmental issues have a great concern today. At the present there are many environmental stresses such as climate change, pollution, shortage of food, environmental degradation, depletion and degradation of natural resources and renewable sources of energy, to name a few. Protecting and conserving the environment is the duty of all of us. Concerted efforts are required to find remedies for various environmental stresses. Each of us need only to be aware about such issues but also to play his duty sincerely and whole heartedly in the conservation of environment. Efforts are required at regional, national and international levels. Scientists and academicians have very significant roles in this direction. Researches are being carried out in different areas of environmental sciences.
