Engendering the Agricultural Research and Extension in India

Empirical evidences of gender development in India. The theoretical framework of the book addresses the pertinent issues viz., women as partner in technology dissemination, concept of gender, initiatives for women empowerment, constraints in implementing the women development related policies. The book also contains how the well designed and need based training interventions as per the suitability of farm women in phase-wise manner may have significant impact on their behavioural dimensions. Based on the experiences of the studies, some empirical models have been emanated.
