About The Author:- Dr. S L Dhani, was born in 1932, in the same deprived section of Hindu population. To which Dr. B.R. Ambedekar belonged with much worse adverse adversities and thus had to experience even worse sufferings, than those suffered by the latter. Still, he graduated with Sanskrit as one of the subjects and joined Punjab Civil Service. He steadily continued widening the horizons of his knowledge, so that by the time of his retirement at the age 56, he was M.A., Ph.d. LL.B. equipped with Master's Diploma in Public Administration (MDPA) from Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi. He had also secured Certificate in Promotion of Small Enterprises from Cranfield School of Management, Cranfield (UK). He got admitted to Indian administrative Service in 1970 and rose to become Commissioner and Secretary to Government of Haryana. He set and example of sacrifice by quitting his job after coming into serious clash with government on the questions of institutionalized corruption in his own government. Dhani shot into international prominence in June 1975, by propounding Manvantara Theory of Evolution of Universe, which was, inter alia, presented by him on invitation in International Seminar on Theosophy and Science, organized as part of centenary celebrations of Theosophy by the World Theosophical Society, in December 1975, and in International Seminar on Aryabhata organized by Indian National Science Academy, in November 1976. Thereafter, he was also featured by BBC in its Overseas Programme. Most of his published works are based upon reinterpretation of Hindu mythology, which fact earned him the epithet of Iconoclast at the hands of reviewers. Contents:- Preface Acknowledgements
