Indian novelists Bharati Mukherjee, Arun Joshi, Anita Desai, K.S. Venkataramani have been researched by 4 contributors. Indian dramatists Girish Karnad, Dattani, VijayTendulkarand Basavaraj Naikar have been taken by 3 contributors. Poets from Sri Lanka have been taken for analysis by an academic. The West Indies Travelogue writer, V.S. Naipaul has been preferred by another academic. The twenty one critical responses throw much more light on the different aspects of Commonwealth literature in a simple and understandable style which can be of immense use to the teachers, researchers and students of Commonwealth literature.
