Chemical Soil Stabilization

In civil engineering, soil stabilization is a technique to refine and improve the engineering properties of soils such as mechanical strength, permeability, compressibility, durability and plasticity. The properties of soil may be improved physically or mechanically, however, the term “stabilization” mainly refers to chemical improvements in the soil properties by adding chemical admixtures.
