About The Author:- Dr. (Ms.) Anjali Kurane, Associate Professor & Head in the Department of Anthropology, University of Pune, Pune. She is Socio- Cultural Anthropologist, has done specialization in Urban & Development Anthropology. Since last more than twenty one years she is teaching in the University of Pune, and actively engaged in research. Her areas of special interest in teaching and research include Urban, Rural, Tribal and Women's Development, Anthropological theories, Ethnicity, Ethnic Identity, Social mobility, Social -cultural change. She conducts field research among the isolated tribal and rural groups as well as communities in the urban settings. She has published Four Books and Several Articles in International & National journals. At present she is a member of editorial and advisory board of five International journals. Marzieh, Gorji Poshti, was born in Tonekabon city in north of Iran in 1971. She has done her studied in Iran and India at and Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Pune, India. Presently she is faculty a Islamic Azad University, Chalous is guest lecturer of Mazandaran University. Also she is a member at the Anthropological Society of Iran.
