About the Author:- Sarthak Sengupta is a former Professor of the Department of Anthropology at Dibrugarh University. He has forty years of teaching and research experience and has conducted extensive fieldwork among the tribe and caste populations of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Uttar Pradesh. He completed several research projects sponsored by UGC, ICSSR, DST, ICMR, and the Indian Tea Board on health, nutrition, and genetic disorders.
