About the Author:- Sarthak Sengupta is a former Professor of the Department of Anthropology at Dibrugarh University. He has forty years of teaching and research experience and has conducted extensive fieldwork among the tribe and caste populations of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Uttar Pradesh. He completed several research projects sponsored by UGC, ICSSR, DST, ICMR, and the Indian Tea Board on health, nutrition, and genetic disorders. He continues to be associated with many Universities as a member of the Academic Council, Board of Studies, etc, He is an active life member of the Indian Anthropological Society; Indian Science Congress Association; Indian National Confederation and Academy of Anthropologists, Indian Society of Human Genetics; Assam Science Society
