An Unfinished Journey

Ambassador Yogesh M. Tiwari's memoirs, "An Unfinished Journey", describe his journey as a career diplomat for India. Heading the Indian missions in Singapore, Austria, Slovenia, Cyprus, Kenya and Eritrea, Ambassador Tiwari's key achievement was spearheading the ‘Look East Policy’, a term he coined. India’s partnership with ASEAN was cited as her biggest foreign policy success in decades by two prime ministers in parliament (I. K. Gujral and H. D. Deve Gowda). Before passing away in 2019, Ambassador Tiwari wrote his memoirs as a practical aid to learning the art of diplomacy.
