This book concentrate on the energy consumption ot different stages in agricultural activities. Viz., pre-production, production and post-production among the different size land holding classes. They also focuses on the size of land holders viz., marginal farm, small farm, medium farm and large farm in Cuddalore and Thanjavur districts of Tamil Nadu. More specifically, the book focuses on the energy consumption of various activities of agricultural operations, specifically the pre-production stage which includes ploughing.
