The primary aim of establishing agricultural colleges is to train and educate the students, so that they can engage in various agricultural activities in a scientific manner and thereby boost the production. Similarly, these graduates are expected to be well equipped with knowledge and skill required for employment in agriculture, public and private sector. In this modern age, agricultural education offers many job opportunities for students to plan and choose their career.As these students have different socio-economic, psychological and cultural backgrounds, one cannot expect all the students to have similar aspirations. It is essential to understand the various aspirations and variations in aspirations existing among the students of agricultural colleges because it decides their future career. Hence a study was conducted with the prime objective to find out the aspirational differences existing among the undergraduate students of different campuses of University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. The findings of the study and relevant implications drawn based on the findings are presented in this publication. It is hoped that the policy makers, teachers, educationists and others concerned with curriculum development will find this book a much needed resource guide.
