About the Author
Prof. Yaddanapudi Reddy Syamala is presently Head, Department of Lexicography, Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad. She obtained her M.A. (Linguistics) from Annamalai University, M.Phil. and Ph.D. (Telugu) degrees from the University of Hyderabad. She has worked on the UGC project entitled “Preparation of Scientific and Technical Terminology Corpus in Telugu”. She has contributed in five books relating to Lexicography and Language Teaching and four Telugu text books. She has more than 20 research papers published to her credit. Prof. Reddy has proven interest in Lexicography, Language Teaching and Folklore. She has extensive experience in the areas of Preparation of Teaching Methods for First Language and Second Language Learners and in Lexicography.
