Gond Kingdom of Deogarh - Hardcover

This kingdom finds repeated mention in Persian sources during the reigns of the Mughal emperors Shahjahan and Aurangzeb. So far, Deogarh history has been quite fragmented, but the author, by extensively using Marathi sources and local material, has brought to light hitherto unknown facts of this tribal kingdom of the Satpura hills. Looking to the fact that tribal history receives scant attention of the historians writing on the main stream of Indian history, this work on the Gond tribal kingdom of Deogarh has its own importance.
