FUTURE OF THE INDIAN EDUCATION SYSTEM: How Relevant is the National Education Policy, 2020?

Announced 34 years after the National Education Policy was first formulated in 1986, the New Education Policy, 2020 aims to overhaul the Indian education system and reclaim its rightful place in the mantle of world education. This book, probably the first one on the Indian Education System after the announcement of NEP 2020, attempts to analyse the Policy from the lens of an educationist and policymaker, and check if it truly addresses the gaps in the current education system. Dr Narendra Jadhav is a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha (nominated by the President of India) and has had an outstanding professional career spanning over four decades in public service.
