This book was written with a view to provide readers with a comprehensive guide to the jurisprudence of forest laws in India. An attempt has been made to analyse, discuss and document, within the two covers of the book, every socially relevant piece of legislation governing forests in India. Moreover, this book also deals with topics that are required to be taught in any course on Forest Laws. It follows the syllabus prescribed by the UGC.
